Unit Enrichment 2024

For the last CCA session in Term 1, our unit held Unit Enrichment for the first time since 2022. Our Unit Enrichment is held to promote inter-batch bonding between our cadets. This year, cadets could choose between two fun and exciting activities: bracelet making and cookie baking.

During these activities, our cadets were split into groups or pairs with members from different batches. For cookie baking, the cadets had to work together with their partner to bake chocolate chip cookies, whilst for bracelet making, the cadets learnt how to tie friendship bracelets with thread together with their fellow groupmates. Through these activities, they learnt more about their juniors and/or seniors and our Sec 1s also reflected that they have learnt more about how the CCA operates.

Our Batch 55 cadets took on the role as facilitators during these activities to teach the rest of the unit how to tie bracelets and bake chocolate-chip cookies.

After the activities, a gift-exchange session was held where our cadets would pass their creations from the activities earlier to a fellow batchmate. This allowed them to show their gratitude towards their batchmates and promote intra-batch bonding as well.

Overall, our cadets had an enjoyable time during this year’s Unit Enrichment!
